How it works

A unique opportunity to combine your Management Training with Corporate Social Responsibility

Splash Projects is a project management company that specialises in delivering bespoke offsite Team Development and Learning Projects which make a difference to a charity or community in need.

We design and run hands on projects where your employees are tasked with planning, leading and managing a project in a live environment, with a real client (a charity) and a deadline. Our projects are designed to meet your needs and are typically organised for twenty to forty participants over one or two days. We have previously delivered a one day project for 200 Royal Bank of Scotland staff.

Our projects form an excellent basis to simulate a project management scenario which delivers real results to a real client. A bespoke project from Splash allows participants to explore in a practical context their own project management & leadership abilities, their own collaborative capabilities, and their ability to cope with stretching targets.

We identify a charitable project in need of a sponsor or work with a charity of your choice in the location where you wish to make an impact.  We then take a group of your employees and execute the project as a Team Development exercise.

Projects range from designing and improving an inner-city playground in London by building trim trail assault courses to improving facilities for disabled youngsters by building them wheel chair confidence courses and stimulating sensory environments.

Typical Project Stages

  • Build up to the Project Day:
    • Identify client's objectives
    • Select an appropriate project
    • Put together a challenging programme that meets both the client's and charity's requirements
    • Carry out risk assessment and prepare safety brief
    • Organise logistics (materials, tools, tradesmen, catering, accommodation, transport, conference facilities, equipment etc)
  • Prior to Project Day
    • Participant briefing and planning exercise
  • Project day
    • Participants deliver the project
    • Participants create project video - optional
    • At the end of the project there is a presentation to charity
